Pictured here on the tractor is Josephine Morris and the young Betty, Francis's sister. The location is Ballintemple and it's the tea break during the threshing. Date is c. 1938. Josphine is Sam's sister-in-law.The tractor is a ' Fordson' made in Cork for the home market. It had no govenor. |

| The photos are taken about the same time. They are both related to harvesting and there is the strong family tie. However, the Atlantic Ocean separates them and at that time this was a big barrier. | |
