Two years ago a tribute was paid to Maple Lawn for presenting such a consistant and colourful display.
This year it was recocognised by Carlow County Council in awarding them First Prize for an estate in the County - an excellent achievement by any standards and all due to a collective pride by all the neighbours. So they have now €800 towads their next big project - did I hear a fountain mentioned?
Pictured this evening is Mick McGrath of Maple Lawn and BIG with Jim Townsend, Cathaoirleach of CCC. Mick was also nominated, along with eight others in the county, for an Individual Achievement Award and received a certificate and writing set as a reminder of the occassion.

for yet another year of a brilliant collective gardening display.
Which goes to show
