Fundraising Concert for the parishes of Aghade and Ardoyne
On Sunday 9th November, 2008, 180 souls braved the rain and near freezing conditions to attend the concert. With the church filled to overflowing with people and good will the cold was forgotten in the warmth of the occasion (and the new gas heaters).
Organised by the Rev. Lester Scott and supported by the parishioners of the two churches the concert held the attention of the congregation (or is it an audience?) for two hours of well paced singing and music.

Rev. Lester Scott gave a fitting peroration to the evening expressing his delight that there was so much musical talent available. He said that the parishes had another special talent with the emphasis on the culinary. This was amply demonstrated when refreshments were served in the hall.
