Ballon Community Hall Fundraiser
A very successful Fashion Show was held in Mount Wolseley on Wednesday night November 4th. It included local boutiques which were showcased by local models and exceptionally supported by local individuals.

The boutiques who exhibited their stock on the night were: Savanna, Touch of Class, Boutique Saundra, and Macs Menswear all located in Carlow. Also taking part on the night were the Arboretum Fashion Store from Leighlinbridge and Elanna’s Boutique from Tullow. Hats adorning the models were from the Faith Amond style guru collection.

Compere for the evening was well known stylist Faith Amond. Faith ably introduced all the models who received unlimited encouragement from a very appreciative audience. As a bonus Faith introduced Marian Nolan at the opening and the interval to entertain with well known songs sang with the air of a professional.
The ladies who modelled were: Kathleen Condron, Kathleen Fitzgerald, Mairead Donohoe, Marian Nolan, Mary Fleming, Deirdre Donohoe, Emma Maher, Mildred Moran, Margaret Harrington, Margaret Smyth, Bridget Hutton, Ysobel Castle, Nikki Nolan, Bridget Murphy Dowling and Aoife McGrath.
Strutting their stuff for the men were: Padraic Lalor, Cormac Maher, Frank Fanning, James Connolly, Joe Smithers, and PJ McCall.
The hair and make up was the beautiful creations of Stephanie and Amy Nolan and Tricia Thompson from the Hair and Beauty Chalet Fenagh Road, Newtown.
The Committee member would also like to express thanks to our sponsors for their very generous donations which contributed greatly to the success of the event.
