The clock was turned back 25 years at the Ballon GFC annual
Dinner Dance in Ballykealey House Hotel on Saturday night as the members

defeated Nurney by 0.13 to 0.3 a quarter of a century ago, were on hand
to accept special commemorative medals. There was tremendous applause
as each player in turn was called forward to receive his memento from

the clubs 29th annual Dinner Dance. He outlined the work being done by
the club presently, which includes the provision of a state of the art

development in Ballon should pay dividends and that he hoped to see a
championship come to the area within a short space of time.
