Prize winners for crazy flower containers and Siopa Glas posters.

27/6/12 Mass for Leavers

Last night a special Mass was said for the school leavers followed by a presentation from the Parents Association.

Pictured are the leavers receiving their presentation from Linda Kenny, chair for the Association, and headmaster Noel Heffernan,

16/6/12 School Fair

Logic might dictate that the imbriferous clouds and the Euro 2012 football would predict a low attendance. Logic didn’t and there a huge turnout on the evening of the 15th for the fundraising activities towards furbishing the new classrooms.

15/6/12 Flower container Competition

This ever popular annual competition attracted an entry of 41 displays  highlighting a fertile imagination and attention to detail. Some of the displays must have taken hours to put together. Everyone is a winner just for joining in but as it was a competition there was a selection process.

Fourth Green Flag ceremony

6/2/12 KHA Presentations

On the 6/2/12 an official presentation was made to the Tullow branch of St. Vincent de Paul through their president Francis Fitzgerald.

Money was raised by carol singing, bric a brac stall at the Christmas fair, hand made Christmas cards and a ‘No uniform’ day at the school.

The fundraising was a great success and St. Vincent de Paul received €1,035 and the SMG nuns in Kenya €1,056

KHA comittee

This is the KHA committee with Chairperson Ava Whelan and vice Chairperson Sara Bermingham making the presentation to President of SVDP, Francis Fitzgerald.
