FOUR ALL-STAR AWARDS IN ROUNDERS: The National Rounders Association of Ireland has selected four players from the Ballon based Cuchulainn Rounders Club as All-Stars for 2004.
The are Thomas Murphy, Sandbrook, who plays first base: Michael O’Leary, Ballykealey, a right outfield player; Carmel Moloney, Rathrush, first base and Chantel Cole Rathrush, third base.
The four will receive their awards at Croke Park on Saturday, November 27. It’s Thomas Murphy’s second All-Star Award and the club’s sixth - Maura Quirke, Nurney collected number two in 2003.
