The International Statue of Our Lady of Fatima
On Monday 13th June
and Tuesday 14th June the statue was displayed
at Rathoe & Ballon Parish Churches.
This was seen as
a privilege and attracted a large congregation to each event.
The statue has been traveling the world since 1947 on a teaching mission
bringing the presence of Mary and Her message.
I t is reported that the statue shed human tears on on more than 30
occasions and an official document of Fatima reports "That never
in the history of the Church have charisms descended in such abundance
on the people of God as through the Pilgrim Virgin."
This image was taken at Rathoe church before the crown was put on.
The background was cleared and substituted for the blue and white one shown.
