I moved to Rathrush from Dublin in 1970.
I was educated in Rathoe National School and then in Tullow Community School.
I was confirmed in Ballon Church.
My time spent in Carlow was during school terms and I returned back to Dublin for all School holidays.
For family reasons I had to return to Dublin permanently in 1980.

I am now 22 years back in Dublin and visit Rathoe / Ballon area on a regular basis and am delighted to say that 22 years later I am greeted with a warm welcome.
