Prayers were answered and the sun shone as 48 children from Ballon National School were confirmed by Monsignor Bremdan Byrne PP Tullow, supported by Fr. Howard and Fr. Whelan of Ballon.
Monsignor Byrne gave the Sacrament of Confirmation – Grace for Fullness of Faith and Life – to each child accompanied by their Sponsor.
Fr. Howard presented each child with their Certificate of Confirmation.
