Ballon NS Confirmation 2/4/2022
The early morning rain threatened to spoil the day but some intervention, source unknown, cleared the clouds and brought out the sun.
On Saturday 2nd April Fr O’ Connell and Fr. Lalor confirmed 27 pupils from Ballon, Rathoe and Bunclody National Schools. The ceremony was made even more meaningful by the singing provided by the 5th class choir, conducted by Anne Mc Mahon, and music accompaniment by Rose and John Whelan. Afterward, everyone gathered in the school hall where refreshments were served by the Parent’s Association. A word of thanks to everyone who helped to make the day so special.
