On the 12/9/20 the children received Holy Communion working within the restraints of the virus and social distancing. The precautions in the church and in the ceremony were laudible. Special thanks to all involved, the teachers Deirdre and Una, Rose and John Whelan for the music and singing, Gerry the sacristan for having everything “Ship shape and Bristol fashion”, Fr. Jim for officiating and spreading good humour and a few dance moves, the children for taking their parts seriously, the parents and sponsors and last but not least the small army of cleaners.
There were two separate services due to restrictions.
